My set of Smith & Hawken ducks. I have had them for years and they could really use a new coat of something. What do you think? Is gold the answer?

I love this! The horses look great and so would your ducks! I think finding some little deer to spray paint and place on top of each plate with the place card would be so perfect for the holidays!

Yes paint them gold. Also, thank you for clearing up my senior moment. I was looking at my gold spray paint this morning trying to remember what it was that I want to spray paint. The answer is some plastic animal that I have yet to buy.

Don't paint the geese! They are lovely the way they are - the lovely patina of a lifetime ... don't cover that with gold.

Gold can make anything look extra special and fancy. Go fot it! And maybe dress them up too for xmas - like a fancy napking ring around their necks of something. Have fun!
Yes ~ I say it is a ducky idea! Be sure & get the pretty 14K Gold Spray paint ~ it has a nice gilded hue to it.

Gold on those ducks could look really nice. Plus, it's just paint, and you can paint them again if another color strikes your fancy.
