One Room Challenge - My Family Room
Thank you so much for coming here today. This is the final post for the One Room Challenge where I gave my family room a much needed makeover. If you are new to my blog, or want to start at the beginning, you can start here.
I know today is all about the pictures, but before I get to them I just want to thank you for coming by each and every week. Your visits and comments motivated me to finish my room.
I also want to thank these amazing bloggers for pushing themselves and raising the bar.
I have learned so much from their weekly posts and will definitely be borrowing a lot of their design ideas, too.
Tomorrow is the final link up day for even more design inspiration. I have visited every person linking up and continue to be amazed by all the talented bloggers joining in. Believe me, it is worth your time visiting them.
Welcome to my Nantucket/Florida family room located in New Jersey.
The chandelier from my stairwell.
This Beaker Vase is the perfect addition to my mantle. The stand came late last week.
I am more than a little obsessed with the Rejuvenation Brass Magnifying Glass. It has a hand wrapped leather handle. I think I am going to order a few more for Holiday gifts.
I purchased this sweet mini brass tray from My Darling House.
New hardware that you can read about here.
Custom prints form The Pink Pagoda
I owe you a tutorial on the drapes. Look for one next week.

Blue and White Bash Day
Today, I am over at The Pink Pagoda linking up to the Blue and White Bash.
I'm linking up my entry. The blue and white in this image was purchased through Jennifer's store.
If you are looking for lovely images today, The Pink Pagoda will have an abundance of them. Also, if you have anything blue and white to share, come link up with us.
I'll be looking for you.
One Room Challenge Linking Party - Week 5
I can't begin to tell you how much I look forward to Thursday's. It feels like we are one big DIY/Design Family. I can see how hard all of you are working and I want you to know that I am right there with you.
Many of you have handy husbands. A few of you have handy parents. And everyone has had their fair share of hiccups along the way. With one week left, let's stick together and support each other. I really do believe that we are all winners for coming this far.
Please remember to put a link in your post letting your readers know where you are. The extra visits that your readers will bring to the other participants might be just the encouragement they need to finish.
Now let's go see the progress.
One Room Challenge - Week 5
Hi and thanks for coming back. This is week five of the One Room Challenge.
Tomorrow is link up day for those of you playing along. If you want to see some sneak peaks, go on Instagram and put in #1roomchallenge or #OneRoomChallenge....there is an abundance of talent and inspiration out there.
I think I may be in denial that next Wednesday is the last post. I have a lot more work to do between now and then. My UPS man, Steve (yes, I know his name), was busy with deliveries this week.
Let me show you what arrived.
Leslie at Pillow Love did an amazing job with the Thibaut fabric. The quality of her work is perfect and her prices are reasonable. As you can see, she will work with your own fabric, too.
My window seat cushions were sent out and have returned. I love the crisp clean white. The blue piping is the same fabric used on the love seats.
When I sell my home, do I need to leave the cushions?
The talents of my friend Jennifer never cease to amaze me. In the last challenge, she designed this custom fabric for me. This time she made four original prints that look like hand painted watercolors.
I know!!! The Talent Fairy gave her an extra sprinkle...and I was clearly absent that day. She hasn't decided if she will sell them in her store. I think she definitely should, but feel free to visit her and leave a comment telling her what you think.
I have added to my blue and white obsession collection with a few more pieces from Jennifer's store. I don't think she makes these, but with that much talent, you never know.
A pair of Beaker Vases.
A happy Ginger Jar.
And just to prove that I have been doing more than opening boxes...my window treatment is almost finished.
This is an Ikea hack using the Lenda curtains and my chopped up fabric. If all goes well, I'll have a tutorial up on Monday...no promises.
Now let's go see how the others are doing. I hope I am not the only one a little nervous about finishing.

Anthropologie Wallpaper
This may be old news to some of you, but has anyone been looking at the wallpaper that Anthropologie is carrying lately? I saw a few pins a while back, but I really did not keep up with the new additions.
I have a great source for wallpaper... my Group Pinterest Board. I must admit that it keeps me lazy because those pinners are all over the net with great finds and I can always swoon over their finds.
Today, I was looking for a mural inspiration, and I fell in love with this one. It's called Palace Birds and is a bargain at $348 covering 108 square feet of wall space. It also has a paste free application.

| I would probably never use this in a kitchen (too obvious), but I would love it in a small foyer or dressing area. |

One Room Challenge Linking Party - Week 4
Hello Challengers, I wanted to give a quick 'Thank You' to Glitter Guide for featuring my Minty Malm Ikea hack. I'm speechless, but not for long.
So, how's it going on week four? I want to cross the finish line with all of you. There are two weeks left and you can do this. Start making choices, edit your list, and put the room in a better place than it was when you started. That will make you a winner and ready for the Holiday's.
Please remember to put a link on your post letting your readers know where you are today. The extra visits that your readers will bring to the other participants is greatly appreciated and really needed during this crunch time.
Come with me as I visit and comment on all the progress that has happened this week.
