Let's Go To Hollywood

I know you love to look inside of homes as much as I do. In fact, I am at a disadvantage.... I have shown you my home and I feel like you should be sending me pictures of your home. Is that weird?

I found a really cool home in the Hollywood Hills for us to stalk. I decided to go to the West Coast because unlike us, they are not expecting 72 inches of snow tomorrow. If you are one of the few lucky people to own a salt manufacturing company...Congratulations, this is your year! It looks like you will be getting the new kitchen you have been dreaming of.

Back to the Hills. This home was designed by Ryan White. I found him on Open House NY. My daughter and I think he is so darn cute.

You can find the twisted art here.

Do you have a favorite object? I love the turquoise convex mirror.

Stay warm.

  6. I was thinking about you this morning, and being Wednesday, that I miss the ORC! :) Then I see your post on my favorite neighborhood and it was like we were connecting this morning! Haha :)

Beautiful home. I pretty much love it all...the kitchen, dining room, and that fig fabric (Peter Dunham?)...love those chairs!

Have a great day Linda...bummer about all the snow. Spring coming soon! xo

  9. Love Every Single Thing about that house, but the dining room is my favorite. Gorgeous. Wouldn't it be fabulous to be in S. Cal right now? Enjoy the snow day tomorrow! (Ha!!)

  10. I have to say I really, really love that kitchen and those burgundy chairs! Fab. Although I am not sure how practical they would be (at least in my house). I just see lots of gross sticky spills. Maybe you pop a plastic cover over them before eating, like my grandmother would have, haha.

Overall there is VERY little I would change about that space. It looks very livable and I love how eclectic and full of personality it is.

As a fellow NJ resident, I have to concur about living in CA. Did you see Gov Christie said "Thursday will not be a good day in NJ"... wow! That's reassuring! Haha. Be thankful you have a well-insulated house; I am nervous we'll lose power and freeze to death in this 1920s pile of bricks on the Hudson.

  11. If it is warm there - then I am ready! I really like the front wooden door and I get a glimpse of the staircase - which looks pretty good. It is a lovely house.

  16. Ooo I like this house. So much personality. Love the typography, dark walls in the dining room, and for some reason those leafy green chairs in the living room. Looks like fun people live there.

  22. How do I choose?! I love the pair of cheerfully cluttered shelves flanking the window in the second to last picture. It would be nice to have a spot to display curiosities, family heirlooms and whimsical things picked up on vacations.

I just found you through Bloglovin, and I'm so glad I did. I love what you're doing here. Now I feel like I really should send you a picture of my house! It's only fair, right? :)
