Custom Fabric on Spoonflower

Hi All! Did everyone have a great weekend? I have a feeling there was a lot of crazy room designing going on. Did you see how many people linked up to the One Room Challenge? I had no idea that many people wanted to jump in.

I also noticed that Albertina, Jennifer, Julia and Beth have or will be featuring some of the linking participants. It's always fun to see another perspective on the room plans.

If you followed along during my last ORC, you may remember that Jennifer designed this fabric for my entry. When I needed a small graphic to complete my current fabric plan, I asked Jennifer for some ideas. She told me that many of the Spoonflower sellers will custom color their patterns for a small fee.

I fell in love with her Lattice in Ocean on the left.

This is a large scale graphic and I have a large scale floral in my plan. I contacted Andrea to see if she would work with me on this.

Andrea was an absolute delight to work with. I sent her my swatches so she could match the colors. I also asked her to scale it down and make the pale blue more prominent. Here is her final design.

She added a linen texture to the printing process. You can see it on the right. This fabric is available for purchase here. My fabric order is in the mail and I cannot wait to see it in person.

These are some of the other beautiful fabrics Andrea sells in her Spoonflower Store

Isn't she good? I love finding new sources for fabric and custom coloring makes the possibilities endless.

What did you work on this weekend?
