Well, sadly.....depending on where you live...the hydrangeas are starting to fade. It wasn't a stellar summer for hydrangea blooms around my yard. Excessive heat, water restrictions and little energy for dead-heading when it felt like Africa....slowly morphed into the "Next Year" chant.

Well, because I am always obsessing considering changes in some of the rooms in my home (ok, the whole house)...I wanted to check out hydrangea art on Etsy.
This is what I am loving
Do you have a special way of remembering Summer?

As you know hydrangeas are my favorites! This summer very hard on mine ... I need to get out and do some pruning ... The etsy art is wonderful, I love the pink ones in the vase! xo
Those are very pretty. Years ago I used to paint flowers, irises mostly. Every so often I get an urge to paint flowers again.
I have been bugging my husband for hydrangeas and he always says "next year". I hate that phrase.
I'm so jealous that you can even grow gorgeous hydrangeas--my yard is too shaded. All the paintings are wonderful. I'm drawn to the last water color.
I love the hydrangea art you have shown here - each one so different. I do love how different the colors can be - mine did not do well for too long this year.
This summer blew! So glad it's almost over. Hopefully next year won't be so damn hot and we can enjoy the hydrangeas more.
Your photo from last year is gorgeous!! Mine did ok, despite the record temps. Love the first painting!
I LOVE hydrangea! The art you found on Etsy is beautiful!
Pretty Pretty Paintings! I love Etsy. I'm neither a gardener nor an artist so this is as close as I will get to the real thing!
I like them all, but I think I could "live" with the first one the best!
ooohhh, i love the first one the best! so beautiful! why yes, my special way of remembering summer is booking a ticket to hawaii!!!! kidding, i'm actually ready for fall as the cooler breezes start to roll in. But I agree, the hydrangeas were short lived in my area too!
I love hydrangeas, and the artwork is beautiful. Funny, my way to remember summer is to dry a few hydrangeas! But I have to agree - this year they were smaller and fewer than last year, so I actually decided not to dry any. But I can still enjoy last year's as they're in great shape :-)
Isn't Etsy amazing? I love the first art. Beautiful!
these are great resources! AL have such beautiful work. I love etsy!
