Air Plants

Have you noticed all of the fun creative things that people are doing with Tillandsias (aka Air Plants)?

They grow without soil and need very little watering...once a week, I think.

Because they will grow on almost anything anywhere...I find myself fascinated by the endless possibilities.

These are definitely my kind of plant. My Fig causes stress, self inflicted because I want it to live so badly!! These could be a little more fun! xo

My girlfriend has these plants all over her house and they are as easy as they get! I have to get on that train!

I'm with Beth--they are new to me--but I likey! I would definitely buy some. They would be great for staging, too. Where, oh where, do you find them?

I have a pony that is an air fern, he needs no food and stays fat! I remember these from years ago. It think they're pretty cool if you just mount them on a wall or in the oddest spaces. I'll have to check them out again.. Where do you get them?
Hope you have a great day.

My local grocery used to sell these. Hmmm, I wonder if it will thrive in a dark basement.

I'm loving that elephant. You think these would work in a zero light location?

I kept mine alive for about 3 months...then I started neglecting it as I do all the other plants in my life :(
