Today it is raining.....just like yesterday.....and tomorrow! The good news is that it forces me to concentrate on an inside project, and you DIY-ers know how long that list is! The bad news is that I can't go play in my garden, which is what I dream about all winter long. It looks like the on again off again rain pattern might continue for quite some time. This made me realize ....I need an umbrella. I don't have one I like. Here are a few to consider

I have several ... I hate them all!! But that dome one with the bird in the cage reminds me of a favorite one when I was a little girl! I thought it was the most fabulous accessory in the world!!
I loved those dome umbrellas when I was a kid. It might sound odd, but I generally grab a plain black ball cap and my Barbour waxed jacket for the rain.

The black and white one and the red and blue one. I wish it was raining so I could walk around with those. And don't forget the other to-do item on any rainy day - chuck all other items on your list and watch a movie. :)

I bought four new ones for our trip to Paris. All of them turned inside out the first time we used them. I have only one I like but it's a golf umbrella so a little unwieldy for just walking around.
Can you send some of that rain our way? It's becoming desert-like here and no real rain in the forecast.
Er, never thought much about owning an umbrella I actually like until I saw your post missy! I'll have one order of "Shit it's raining" and one order of that fabulous black and white one por favor, pronto. And since it's been raining every day in Miami as well, I'll need that order sent overnight! Thank you very much....
I had a bubble umbrella like the second one you posted but without the bird cage. I LOVED it because it was super deep but clear so I could bury in it and keep my hair from getting wet at all! I think I got it at Lord and Taylor...

I have a crappy umbrella that I'm always forgetting to take with me when it rains. I should probably invest in a more stylish one....maybe then I won't leave home without it. And, I'm sooooooooo sick of this rain. We still haven't finished painting the porch. Grrr!

I saw Target had a clear plastic one that was cute for $15.00 -ish. What are you working on? We are still trying to bleach a 2 x 3 rug, with very little luck.

I love these umbrellas especially #4, #5 and #6. My beloved red old umbrella that I had for 10 years that I bought from Malaysia was broken months ago. I hope to find new stylish umbrella that doesn't cost an arm or a leg!
