I love hydrangeas and have inspirational garden pictures with them here, and here. I have also done a few posts on centerpieces...here and here. I have not done a post on hydrangea centerpieces...until now.

I really like the first arrangement. I like the simplicity. Hydrangeas are really pretty, I should try to grow them this year.

Hydrangeas are definitely a faourite of mine. Had them in my wedding bouquet and I have five large hydrangeas in my backyard. I love making centrepieces with them...usually like the first two photos you posted. Can't wait til summer!

I made 3 blue hydrangea arrangements last weekend for my sons college graduation party here in the backyard, today i am making 3 for a wedding shower that my daughter is hosting for her friend Erin. Thanks so much for a few new ideas!

I have tried email as well. I can't seem to open any of the answers that you gave above.
My question is; can one or two hydrangeas be used in a glass vase that is 4 x 4 x 11 inches tall, such as your first picture above, or is this too tall. My daughter wants Simple, Simple, Simple for her wedding centerpieces. The wedding is May 4, 2013. Can I even get hydrangeas at that time of year. We want green to white colored ones.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Donna,
First, congratulations, what an exciting time in your life.On my Pinterest board, I found this centerpiece

I bet the glass container is really close to your exact measurements. I think it is perfectly elegant with the ribbon tied on it, and it has 2 hydrangeas in it. The leaves on the side are helping it look full and lush. If the 2 stems are bothering you try adding something to hide them

or Large leaves in the water. These look like Hosta leaves

Hope that helps.
