This week, I received my Wisteria catalog. I love Wisteria and find the images quite inspiring. However, this one, has my mind wondering...
I love this rug. Or, is it three rugs sewn together?
Yup, three rugs, and the stripes don't even line up. Although, that is obviously the idea. Clever, whimsical, and surely budget friendly?

It's a blanket stitch holding them together. You remember blanket stitch, don't you? If not, I'm sure there is a youtube video explaining it!
So, here is what I am thinking. What if I found three visually interesting runners, and blanket stitched them together? Now that would be budget friendly.

Three of these would run $312
Or, something like
this (I would probably keep the same color for all three)
Three of these would run $120.
Do you think it would work?

yES yES yES I have seen this done in BHG Winter edition last year - I think they were runners from Ikea on the stairs. Great idea, I would cut them so the blanketstictch seams were sorta hidden under the riser of the stairs somehow - but you're crafty - you'll figure it out!! Pics please when you're done!
