Hallway Console Table

Today, I am thinking about a console table for my upstairs hallway. It is long and could use something. I would want it to be narrow. Maybe a shelf is the answer? Here is what I am looking at, all images are from "The Find"

This one has bamboo rope detail (feels coastal)

 

Metal and wood (very Restoration Hardware?)

Too common?
