I first learned of Holly-tone when I lived in California. All evergreens LOVE this stuff. In my current garden, I use this about 3-4 times a year. I find that it gives the evergreen wall
that extra few inches. I always try to get it in the ground early in the growing season, and before a good rain. So, that time is now. A few comments from my own experience;
My dog loves this stuff, too. I bury it under the mulch and dirt.
The sweet odor attracts chipmunks and the like. I use the entire package at one time.
You can over-fertilize. Read the directions, it is better to put a little less and repeat several weeks later.

Thank you for sharing this!! We have four large Nelly Rs in the front and I will feed this to them! Am I too late though? The growing season is ahead here.
I like to feed all the time...until late September. Before a rain, is best!
