Stofft Cooney Architects
It is no secret around here, that I love architecture. I could look at homes, structure and design....all day long. It's always about the details. I have also shared with you my obsession with architects.
Stofft Cooney Architects is one of my favorite firms. They are the best (in my opinion) in the state of Florida, and probably beyond.
I love a good ceiling treatment.

I am so fortunate to have them consult with me on my little...itty, bitty, tiny....project. I'm not sure how it happened; well I do know, I asked my real estate agent to introduce me to them. I was probably a bit insistent on it. Some might use the word 'pushy', although 'persuasive' is my favorite.
Anyway, please keep your expectations to a minimum because my entire home would fit into one of these spaces.
More to come, soon.
Wood Tile
Have you noticed all the talk about wood tiles? I think it could be a smart option for Florida's climate.
I fell in love with this image on Pinterest.
It belongs to FB account of Ceramiche Supergres. It's Italian, and the FB postings are written in Italian. I barely passed high school Spanish, so Google Translator helped me with this one.
The tile collection is called Travel. There are four color options available.
I think my favorite color is this one.

Does anyone know how to say, 'Where can I find this" in Italian?
Do you have any information on wood (porcelain) tile that you could share?
Who Makes This Table?
I have been looking for a round white table. I spotted this one on Houzz, and immediately clicked over. Everyone was asking the question "who makes this table?" That's what I wanted to know, too.
The photographer has not answered. Do you know who makes this table?
Stacked Cabinets
Do you like stacked kitchen cabinets? It's when the upper cabinets have an additional cabinet above them. Of course it provides extra storage, but it also eliminates the open space that usually has display items.

Or, you can add glass doors for displaying collectables.
I don't like the idea of needing a ladder to reach the stacked uppers. I suppose the pros outweigh the cons for me on this one.
What do you think?
Have You Seen My Powder Room?
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and emails about my new (to me) house. I am meeting with the architect this week. My first request is a powder room. There isn't one.

The home has two full baths.....and that's it. It would be great to carve out a little area for a small powder room that my guests could use.

I am staying within the existing footprint of the home. It's the old story, I will need to give up space from one area to gain it in another.

I think a lot can be done with such a little space. Do you have a tiny powder room?
Bye Bye C. Wonder?
One of the first stores I looked for when we moved down here, was C. Wonder. I was sad to find out that they don't have a presence in Naples. Now, I'm even sadder to read that they will be closing most of their stores?!
The good news? EVERTHING IS 50% OFF!!! I picked up some fun earrings and a pretty frame. I do hope that the company is able to restructure and stay in the retail game.

Either way, who doesn't love a sale?
