Cedar Cove...Real Home
Have you been watching the series Cedar Cove? It's a total 'chic' show and hardly the most in-depth content, but none the less....I like it. Alright, admittedly, I have quite a bit of time on my hands as of late. Yes, I may have binge watched through the first season and after all these years, I still love Andie MacDowell.
Although filmed in Vancouver, the show setting is the fictitious coastal town of the same name influenced by Port Orchard, Washington (Bainbridge Island). I love the scenery and wanted to see what a real home in this area looked like......don't you?

ORC Linking Participant Hall of Fame
Did you happen to see the Remodelista Considered Design Awards? There is a total of ten winners, five categories with two winners (professional & amateur) from each section.
I was so excited to learn that Caitlin from The Shingled House won Best Amateur Office.
If this office looks familiar, it's because Caitlin transformed this space when she participated in the One Room Challenge Linking Event.

Have you seen the home section of Nordstom?! I just had to share my coastal favorites. Many of them are on sale, so they won't last long.
Jane's Cafe
Hello Loves...can you believe that it is Monday already? This week, life returns school starts and everyday is no longer Saturday. Speaking of Saturday...my daughter and I had brunch at Jane's Cafe on Saturday.
Last May, I received an email from the mother of a girl my daughters age, welcoming us to the new school. She was very sweet and we put the girls in touch with each other. Once we moved down, the girls met for lunch and a movie....and then everyone became busy with their summer plans.
Over the weekend the four of us met for brunch and the lovely woman is Jane from Jane's Cafe. The four of us sat and talked for over two hours. Jane is British and both our daughters were born in the UK.
And now the food.....
I thought it would be odd to start snapping pictures while getting to know my new friend, so I found these on Instagram #Janescafe #Janesrestaurant
The cafe is located in Naples Third Street South district and the food is amazing.
If you are coming for a visit, make sure you stop in for breakfast or lunch, you will be glad you did.
