And now my Sweet Blogging Friends, I am cutting out early this Holiday Season. As you know, when my kids are off, so am I. I will be around from time to time visiting your blogs and sending a few emails.
This was a fantastic year for my little blog. I could not have enjoyed it without all of your support and comments. It's the exchange of ideas and thoughts with all of you that make it so enjoyable for me. Thank you for all of your support.
In-between torturing my family with my micro-parenting and clicking around online.....I will be catching up on my reading. I have had several books waiting for me on my Kindle.

When in doubt, send flowers
One of my favorite gifts for the hostess is flowers. I like to bring them in a vase trimmed and arranged so they can be enjoyed with little effort.
A long road trip would not be kind to a floral arrangement, so I am thinking of sending some in advance. In fact, I may or may not be sending some to friends that I can't be with this holiday season. I don't want to spoil any surprises.

Last month, my husband sent me flowers from ProFlowers and they were lovely, so I used their images.

I just had the nicest surprise this morning.
Ikea Hackers is featuring my tutorial today.
If you ever transform any piece of Ikea....anything, you should submit it to Ikea Hackers. They are the gift that keeps on giving.....if you get my drift.

Fabulous or Frivolous Plaid Tile?
Were you in the path of the snowstorm this weekend? My kids measured us at 5+ inches. It was probably 6, but nobody wanted to go outside and check until after some of the melting had begun.
In-between binge watching on the iPad, Holiday baking, and gift wrapping....I found myself falling in love with the plaid mosaic tile floor.

I have been a fan of Osborne & Little's Derwent wallpaper pattern for quite some time. It's the cover image on my Wallpaper Pinterest Board.
I have been enjoying all of the Chinoiserie influences that are popping up all over the net. One trend that seems to stand out at the moment is the use of Koi fish.
