One Room Challenge, Week 6

Hello, and welcome to the final post of the Spring - One Room Challenge. To say that six weeks flew by would be a huge understatement. If you would like to start at the beginning, go here

It would have been impossible for me to stay on track and motivated without all of you checking in on my progress week after week. Thank you for your visits, comments, and overall love of the One Room Challenge. One day, I will tell you all about how crazy it is behind the scenes....really crazy. Over the last six weeks, I transformed my mudroom into a pretty and functional space.

Let's remember how it started.

Leslie did an amazing job converting the Dash and Albert rug into a custom lumbar pillow.

I adore this garden stool from Lamps Plus. As soon as the weather stays consistently warm, I may move this outside for the summer.

The show stopping element of the room is definitely the display of blue and white porcelain prints form The Pink Pagoda. I know my photography does not do them justice.

I also love how the Variegated Plant Print from Minted compliments the other elements in the room.

A huge thank you to these amazing ladies who have brought it big. I can't wait to see their rooms.

Be sure to come back tomorrow and visit all of the Linking Participants. There was major construction and custom work for many of them.

One Room Challenge, Week 1

Hello, and welcome. This is the first week of the One Room Challenge. If you are not familiar with the challenge, it's a room makeover event where I challenge 20 home-design bloggers to make over a space and show the process over six weeks.

There will be a lot of great information, inspiration, and definitely some laughs along the way. I hope you check back each week to see our progress. And if this seems like fun, you can play along and link your room up every Thursday.

Here we go......If you are new to my blog, thank you for dropping by. Since we are moving to Florida this summer, I have one area of my home that must have a makeover before I list this place.

My mudroom, I know I am lucky enough to have a mudroom, but dumb enough not to have finished it for my family.

We don't crate Buster (our dog) anymore, and use it as a place for junk to pile up.

The floor has radiant heat, so winter coats and boots dry faster when left on the ground......that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Who was I kidding? That bulletin board has never functioned the way that it should.

All that closet space, and nothing gets hung up or put away.

Alright, you get the idea.....it's hardly functioning as it should, and looks really ugly!

Here are my BIG plans for my small space. This wall needs a treatment, some custom art, and definitely hooks.

This is the art from my last One Room Challenge, available here. New pieces are in the works and I have no idea what Jennifer is creating.

I'm thinking a version of this room would be great.
