Week 2 is a fun time. Everyone is full of energy, things are being ripped apart (literally) and creativity is abundant.

I hope you had an enjoyable Week 1 of the ORC. It was great to read all of the positive and supportive postings, but most of all, it sounds like people are having fun! Welcome first time bloggers. Hang in there, it gets better and it definitely gets easier. Now, more than ever, it's great to have your own space on the internet where you control the narrative and your destiny.

Week 2 is a fun time. Everyone is full of energy, things are being ripped apart (literally) and creativity is abundant.

One Room Challenge™ The Series, in partnership with the Home Love Network is LIVE! Candis & Andy selected 5 guest participants from last season and filmed a segment for each of them. New episodes will be released every Sunday. Check it out, and be sure to follow the series. This could be you!

Here we are at Week 2 of the ORC. After visiting all of the featured designers, I think I have chicken envy. Once again, my husband is lucky that we live in a community that would not allow farm animals. It's been fun to see all of the behind-the-scenes action on Instagram. I love looking at fabric, paint, tile, wallpaper...anything home design related. Let's go see what's new this week.

Well here we are, it's spring and it's time to transform a room from start to finish. For those of you coming here for the first time, welcome! I'm Linda, and seven years ago, I created this biannual event called the One Room Challenge™. For the next six Wednesdays, these twenty amazingly talented design influencers will take you behind the scenes as they transform their rooms...week by week. I hope you visit their sites each week as they share the good, the bad, and the unexpected of real life room design.

FALL 2017 ONE ROOM CHALLENGE™ GUEST PARTICIPANTS, THE FINALE

Welcome to Week Seven of the One Room Challenge (a one week extension was added), where you can peruse endless design projects filled with gorgeous design ideas and endless inspiration.

As mentioned in Week One, two guest participants will be selected as Featured Designers for the spring ORC. This is exciting...

The ORC Selection Team will review each project. Whether you’re the first square in the linkup or the last, you'll be reviewed. Twenty of the guest participants will be selected as finalists.

Direct links to all twenty of the finalists will be sent to House Beautiful where Sophie Donelson, Editor in Chief, and Doretta Sperduto, Interiors Editor, will review all of the finalists. They do all of the vetting for print submissions for House Beautiful, and having your work in front of these two is already a win.

On Tuesday, November 28th, House Beautiful will announce, via Instagram, the two talented selected designers.

How will the One Room Challenge™ Selection Team narrow down the finalists? It will be similar to our standard ORC vetting process. The team will look for a multitude of things including the ability to follow rules - especially #5 on the ORC Guest Participant Rules.

HOME LOVE NETWORK PRODUCTION

Candis and Andy will be reviewing each link, too. They will make their own selection and will announce their winner on Monday, November 27th!
