It's Time for New Ties.....Father's Day.

Here we go again....Father's Day. Last year, we gave my husband a new iPad and he declared that he wanted another type of tablet....so, it became the family iPad (that lives on my nightstand). This year, my daughter and I will be giving my husband a wardrobe makeover. We are so excited! It's time.

His current tie collection is older than our kids. The last time I brought home new ties, he returned every one of them. This time, I am going to stick with something that will make both of us happy. I love the Burberry tie collection and these are a few of my favorites.
Father's Dat

Next on the list are shirts and jeans that are stylish, fit well, and won't embarrass the kids. Any suggestions? What does your husband wear on the weekends?

My hubs already passed the 'tie phase' early and so I will be giving him a nice Burberry wallet for this Father's day. Last year we gave him huge family photos for his office. For shirts we love burberry slim fit checked shirts, but that'll clash with you ties. Van Heusen is a good brand (less wrinkles)as well as Lacoste plain long sleeves ( you need to iron this one though. :-)

Yes - I wanted to give my husband a cute tie from Vineyard Vines this year - but he really doesn't wear ties anymore. I may save that for a Christmas gift.
However, my kids got him a t-shirt from Signature TShirts on Etsy that says "This is what an Awesome Dad Looks like".
Okay - a little on the hokey side - but, still cute.

He will love any one of these! Such classics! My husband will be getting some framed photos of our girl for father's day taken by me...I just left them at the framer today!

I love Burberry ties, they will always be in style. I have learned with my husband that fit is everything. We went to a cool men's store (old-school style, with wood paneling and leather everywhere) and got him measured. He was more open to one of those people telling him he needed to wear large than to his wife.

Whatever the apparel, if you can tell who made it, my husband won't wear it. Of these ties, I like the top one best. That blue is so pretty!
