Here are the fabulous blogs participating:
What am I working on?
Well, for the first ORC I made over my dining room. The next ORC, I tackled my master bedroom.
So, it seemed only fair to ask my family what room they wanted. Here's the vote:
Husband (aka, my sponsor) - Garage
Son - His Room
Daughter - Her Room
It was unanimous...the Entry Hall!
Welcome to my entry
There are 3 parts to it. This is the view from the front door. I'm calling this section 1.
This is the opposing view of section 1.
This is the part I am calling section 2
It is between section 1 and the kitchen. It is also where the coat closet and powder room are located.
And now for section 3. The most neglected area.
Another view of section 3
It connects the entry to the family room....and nobody ever goes down section 3!
As some of you know, I have been obsessing over an all white foyer with a splash of color for over a year.
This is my inspiration
I want to add recessed panels exactly like these.
A colorful rug, or two, or three

I would love a piece of furniture to replace the chest of drawers in section 1. Maybe something like this one
 |
| Apartment Therapy |
I think I will paint the alter table I got on CL like this one and put it in section 3.
 |
| Celerie Kemble |
I will need a mirror to go over it...maybe something like this one
That's my plan....now let's go see what the others are planning for their rooms;

Wow, Linda...I love the direction you are thinking for Sections I, II and II!!!
Thanks so much for organizing this. I'm so happy to be a part of the group.
Oh Yeah! Cannot wait to see your carpentry skills in action! I love your black door by the way ... are you keeping it???? xo
Good morning Linda, I am excited to follow your progress...you have some great ideas and a fabulous space to work with...your floors are beautiful! Enjoy your day! xoxox
So thrilled to hear that your vote counts like mine does in my house. If momma ain't happy.....
And really excited that you're doing an entry. There's the least pinned room I have because there's nothing really practical but pretty out there. So happy to see this journey!
I love your inspiration photos and especially the one with the layered rugs. So fun. Can't wait to see what you do. Thanks for organizing this again and inviting me again.
Can not wait to see how you transform your entry way!!!
WOW!! You are one ambitious lady and I can't wait to see this all unfold! Your space is gorgeous to begin with - the molding around your doorways??? Wowza. I am in love with recessed paneling and am so excited to see it in your all-white foyer. Tons of fun…..looking forward to seeing your progress.
What a NICE entryway you already have... Looking forward to seeing your progress!
So glad your family decision to redo the entry was unanimous!!! I imagine they will be helping you because they are so excited??? I have no doubt that this will be another amazing transformation!!!
What an amazing entry! Curious to know if this vote was democratic???? But it will look fabulous!
Wow, it's already a great space. I love the idea of the recessed paneling though. Can't wait to see what you do!

Oh, I'm so excited it's ORC time again!! I so enjoy following along with all you lovely ladies. Your vote cracked me up! That's about how it goes in our house too. I think entries can be so challenging and yours with it's three section seems daunting, but I love your plan. That Celerie Kemble-designed entry has always been one of my favorites (I actually have one of those chairs in my entry). Good luck and Godspeed. Can't wait to see your progress!
Great bones already in your entry and the inspiration photos are right up my alley! Some of my favorite bloggers are participating in the ORC and I can't wait to see what all of you come up with.
This is so exciting - what a fab group of people!
Thanks so much for the invitation to participate. I'd love to try an ORC once the dust settles with our move!
xo,
Raina

Your entry is so grand! I mean it is its own room and I'm so glad you are finally getting to it! Loving all your inspiration photos. You're going to kill it!!
i am thrilled that the ORC is back! this is how I discovered all of ya'll last year! I was just a few weeks old myself and I stumbled upon this challenge and followed you all religiously! I'm psyched!
Loving the line up of very fab people involved in this ORC!! Can't wait to see what you do with your foyer! Great inspiration pics too.
We've got the same kind of democracy at our house too. Works like a charm. Love your plan. All of the molding makes me swoon!!
I was just saying the other day that I wish you would do another ORC...yay!! I enjoyed the last one so much. It's very fun to watch designers do their own rooms.
I love that your entry way has three sections...mine has no sections....haha! Your inspiration images are some of my favorites so I'm excited to see what you have up your sleeve :)
Have fun!
Whoa, that's alot of hallway sister! I had no idea it was that intense, so really 3 areas! The inspiration is gorgeous, and at least your stairs are white? Love your voting system! Best of luck friend and Im cheering for you!

I like seeing more of your house. This is a great space to work with, looks like a fun project.
I love your family votes- too funny!
I think the Entry Hall is the PERFECT space to do- its something lots of people struggle with and it will make for one amazing before and after!
I see the vote at your house is similar to how things are done here! Yes to the all white foyer with molding!!! Love the black console - I think Kathy at My Interior Life has one that is very similar. Excited to see your plan come to life Linda!

Good Lord....that entry is the size of my whole house:) Not worried though...you will pull that space together just like you did last year when you did your bedroom! You got talent girl....wish we lived closer cause we could help each other you know...a little wine...a little decorating!
I do love how your voting works and I can't wait to see how your entry comes out. Molding makes everything look fancier.
Can't wait! love that you'll be able to use your altar table finally! :-)
Hi Linda. Love your inspiration pictures. You have such a pretty space to start with! Thank you so much for all of your time to organize the ORC
Ooo I love your color plan so far. What a big foyer! Seems like a tough room to layout. I think your plan to do minimal pieces will be nice, but hey I'm a sucker for an alter table.
Oh Linda this is so fun!! I'm so excited to follow along!
The unanimous decision- awesome. I can't wait to see the spaces transformed. I love that all white foyer with a pop of color as well!

Love, love that first inspiration photo. Looks a lot like your entryway already! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Linda, This all seems like great fun. I know you've done this before, but wasn't able to follow. I love your plan for your entryway. You're such a lucky girl to have one that large. Plenty of room to play. Love the color choices. Can't wait to see what everyone else is doing.
Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
Isn't it nice when everyone agrees? I can't wait to see the finished product!
Wonderful!Great creations!Looking forward to see the outcome:)
The unanimous decision- awesome. I can't wait to see the spaces transformed. I love that all white foyer with a pop of color as well!
Looking forward to seeing the progress!
Thank you, all, for your lovely comments. I have tried to reply directly back to you, but many of you are "no-reply".
I really need to be part of this next go around to motivate me to complete a room from start to finish. Love this series!
Very inspiring, Linda. I love your ideas and look forward to seeing this all come together. I have every room in a different color. I need to repaint my foyer soon - it is in a sunny yellow - American Cheese by BM - but I am toying with the idea of going white - a huge change for me :)
Love your spacious entry hall, there is so much potential in there. I know you will rock it! Can't wait to see more!
