Schumacher Fabric Giveaway!

**Update, congratulations, Tammy!**

Day 4 of the New Year....and I'm still on track with my goals. I think this is a personal best.

I have a nice size home with more than enough storage. My problem...too much STUFF. I can't find what I want when I need it, and as Suze Orman says "Clutter costs you money". Cliff notes: how many times have you bought something, only to find out that you already had it? That black turtleneck, olive oil, upholstery tack strips (not you?), a drill bit in that size (still not you?)...you get it.

I'm cleaning it out.
Remember my fabric hoarding collection?

I managed to organize it when I built shelves in my basement

I still have too much stuff. So....It's...

Schumacher Fabric Giveaway Time!

3 1/2 yards of  "Chinese Rustic"

I used it on this Tobi Fairley inspired chair. Tobi...call me!

The fabric has several vignette's

And since the color is changing in every photo....I have swatched the background color for you

It's between BM Geranium and Red Parrot. On the orange side, not red.

You could make an array of pillows like this

Or, hold onto it for a really long time, and then offer it as a giveaway.

Who wants to win this?
Please make sure I have an email address for you

OOOH! My library (future) is that orange-y red. I could have sworn I was a follower from way back but I must have been dreaming. I am now.
Something about me that few people know: French was my first language, just don't ask me to say anything now.

Linda, I'm a loyal follower! And I love this fabric! Something about me -- I went to highschool with Barack Obama. :)

Lovely fabric! but I can't use that color way either, but I could possibly use it in a client job! About me? I'm getting my new puppy next weekend!

Oooh! Pick me, pick me!
Something about me - my entire family calls me Jen(don't ask me why). Funny story... one Christmas my husband got me a personalized ornament and he asked to put Charmaine on it. The lady said it was too long and he said to put Jen instead. Everyone in the store started laughing. lol.

Bonjour! I got a D in High School Spanish.

That's fun. I met OJ Simpson, and found him charming and attractive :@

Something most people don't know about me: My favorite kitchen chore is cleaning shrimp and my least favorite is shucking corn.

My Crafty Home Life said...

Really? Cleaning shrimp? I am a slob and let my clothes pile up on the floor of my master bathroom.

My Crafty Home Life said...

You need to post a photo of that costume. I sewed my own prom dress.

Kim said...

Too funny Linda ... I follow you and like you already!!! I have my own stash ... so let someone else win! I lived across the street from Elvis when I was 2!! xo

Junell said...

Me too with my Mom's help! I have pictures somewhere of prom dress. My mother still has the elf costume, I will find it!

Hmmm a secret? Every once in a while I will sneak a can of frosting out of the pantry and open it just so I can eat a couple spoonfuls. Everyone does that right? I have to hide it though so my daughter doesn't steal it.

Linda, What a great blog you have! I love your VERY ORGANIZED material in your basement! I could use that fabric on a beautiful bamboo chair I am reclaiming!!!
Wonderful post... I am a new follower!

Something very few people know about me is that I get a lil too scared when there are really strong winds, esp. hurricanes but not exclusive. :)

Beatrice Jade said...

I do that but with fluff. :)

My Crafty Home Life said...

My kids love fluff and that kind of frosting. I can finish a whole container of spinach dip from Trader Joe's.

My Crafty Home Life said...

I don't blame you one bit. I think I am still a little afraid of the dark.

Nicole said...

I am in LOVE with your fabric. I have entered approximately 1000000 blog giveaways and never won a thing, so my fingers AND toes are crossed this time. ;)

Randomness fact about me: I think I may be allergic to live Christmas trees and garland, but that didn't stop me from having a live tree this year and using 80 yards of garland

My Crafty Home Life said...

Did you need an epipen? I need glasses, and refuse to go...I use the readers and continue to increase the strength.

Is it terrible that I don't think that's so much fabric to have? Also, I use a flip phone because I'm too punk rock for a smart phone {I'm not sure anyone buys that line really, I just love my low phone bill}.

Vel Criste said...

Very fun giveaway! I missed this post earlier somehow. I'm quite envious of your fabric collection, I love me some fabric. The husband doesn't understand my constant pillow changing though. I'm following on all platforms now! AKA Elisa Fischer Smith. Random fact: I've lived in my home for 5 years and painted my dining room every year, I am in the process of picking a new color for it right now.

I know the contest is over but this is post is very encouraging. I loved how you placed your desk between the two shelves - great idea! Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

Oooh, I want!! And I'm "stalking" you in every way possible! :) I hope it's not too late to enter the contest! So about me... I wanted to be a professional ballerina when I was in high school. But unfortunately, I like to eat too much! XOXO, The Glam Pad
