Nate Berkus Fabrics

Did you know that cutie, Nate, the one we all love to love has a line of fabric? I was so happily surprised when I got the Calico email. Did anyone else happen to notice that it looks like the "corners" was dropped from Calico? Am I late on this news, too?

I think this one is my favorite

Although, it could be a tie with this one

Marais via Calico

OK, I can't decide just yet

It's the kind of collection where all the prints work with each other. You know...like Gar-animals. I really like the graphics and need to go into the store for a closer look. The prices are also reasonable. Looks like my Nate crush is going to continue for a while.

Have you seen Nate's collection in person?

  9. I stopped by the Denver location last month and noticed they had changed their store concept. It's been years since I've been to a C/C, when did this happen? I suppose it's helpful for civilians, but to a designer it appears to now be a rather small fabric showroom with little selection. I miss the ever-changing selection of bolt-ends you could take home right away.

  20. That whole garanimals approach is great for the majority of people who don't know how to combine patterns. I went in there a few months ago and was sorry to see that they don't have all of the bolts of fabric that you could buy or buy from. It was order only.

  24. Ha! I'm reading "Calico" in your post and automatically put "Corners" behind it. I had no clue what you were talking about when you said they dropped "Corners" I assumed it was a line of fabric. (finally I figured it out) I think I need to go back to bed today.

  25. Man, I haven't been to a Calico Corners in years. There's only one here and it's kinda way south of moi so not among my usual haunts. Will have to swing by one day soon and yes, that Nate is a cutie and one with amazing style to boot.

  28. That is an awesome reference to Gar-animals! I think I've only been in this store once in my life {and it's 15 minutes away} but I feel like they would have done better because Calico makes me think of quilting fabrics with tiny patterns.

Nate's fabrics seem like they would make nice pillows.

  29. Have not been to Calico in like forever.... why drop the Corners???, I am confused... love, love, love Nate that said I am thinking this is way to safe which is a shame..... Also may be why I have not been to CC in like forever. Sorry to be a downer on the Nate fabric.... I do adore him!
