A latch hook kit that my daughter got at camp one summer....3 years ago. The camp was so expensive, that I figured this puppy is worth a couple hundred dollars, if you get my drift. She refuses to finish it, and I think it would make a fun pillow for the basement.
It could go with this one.
The latch hook "Fathers Day" kit I finished for her about 2 years ago. It needs to be made into a pillow.
How about this one
A needlepoint I started more than 10 years ago.
Speaking of needlepoint, I never did anything with these
The 6 needlepoint's I bought on Ebay and told you about here.
How about this
A round loom cowl that you wear in the winter
All I have to do is figure out how to get it off the loom. I should have bought one on Etsy, like this one

But wait...there's so much more. This is my hall closet. My talent-less builder obviously could not figure out how to hang a bar.
Faux bamboo tables just waiting for the right color of paint.
Maybe red like these?

I also have a pair of these vintage Asian tables
I love the old mirror. They just need to be painted.
Trust me, I could go on.
Here is the plan. I started a Pinterest board titled Project Procrastination...Finish the Unfinished. I will add anyone as a pinner who wants to join. Janet is already on board.
Work at your own pace. Once you have a blog post to pin from...go ahead. I don't care what kind of blogger your are, and I don't care what type of project you have been procrastinating.
NO JUDGEMENT...only support, and hopefully a laugh or two.
My personal goal is 1 project per month.
Who's with me?

Oh my god. My stomach hurts from laughing this morning. You kill me. Love your needlepoint and puppy pillow visions. I have some Chinese red bamboo side tables as well and love them! Do it sista! Your poor coats...
I am right there with you, so many to count:)! I will be sure to pin:), Have a great week, Jen
I have one very shameful 25, yes twenty-five, year old unfinished project. I bought ( at a stupid price) antique mantel pieces. Think fluted columns and capitals. The plan was to make a console table out of the pieces. Each of the six moves has had a husband or mover ask me, "do we/you have to keep this?".
It might take me all year but I can commit to finally using the pieces for something.
And here I thought I was the only one who did this, though there is no way in recounting all of my unfinished projects that I could generate the chuckles you have Linda! Count me in on this one, maybe I can get a few done.
Oh my gosh lady I AM WITH YOU!!! This very same time last year I started a Before & After series for this same purpose, to motivate me and others to get stuff DONE, and in typical Lisa fashion I eventually ran out of steam with the series and stopped (story of my life!) I have about 5 projects that are half done, and I'm so sick of myself….. I love this idea for motivation! Thank you….looking forward to getting things finished.
Perhaps I should drag out the entire plastic tub of little squares of fabric Erin cut out over 8 years ago to make a quilt. The fabric is past its prime ... orange, lime green and purple with very weird patterns. But, like you, thought the little fortune in fabric would bring some creative outlet to her. Instead I move the tub around every year when putting away my Christmas things!! I don't know if I have it in me to even start that fabric ... perhaps someone else might!! xo
OMG too funny!!! That loom thing is bizarre....but the cowl neck could be so cozy! Which one are you going to start off with? Coincidentally I just posted about a chandelier I finished after having the parts for over 3 months! I'm so happy I finally got it done. DO IT!!
Geez, you are too funny! Man, most of my projects center around getting rid of junk, not very sexy for pinning. I will have to think about unfinished projects I still want to complete. Happy new year! Xo a
Happy New Year, Linda! Projects? Geez, we have plenty. The ones bugging me are related to organizing (closets, garage, mudroom, etc). I never fully unpacked when we moved back into our house after the renovation 4 years ago :)
Cheers to 2013~ Loi
You are hilarious!! My collection is SO out of control, I may just haul it all to Goodwill and start fresh! :)
I literally can't stop laughing. That rug hooking kit of your daughters makes me wish I hadn't thrown mine away as a teenager (I never finished it either). You might be onto something with the pillow for the basement idea though! ha ha ha. I'm so glad to see your list - it makes me feel a lot better! Or at least, not so alone ;)

Oh girlfriend, you know I'm in!
I'm in!!! need to get A LOT of things done, starting with, your right, cleaning up my Christmas decors and organizing them all!
Happy New Year! You are kind of scaring me! I can't "do" anything! I might just have to be a cheerleader! BUT- take it on girl! Do it for me so I can see the after pictures:-) xo, K
Linda I lcan't stop laughinghappy New year
So funny! I might have to be on board when I can find some time!
I don't seem to have unfinished projects as much as I have unstarted ones! I have a whole list coming out this week. I wish you the best at tackling those and getting it all behind you. I just need to go through all my shizzz and purge asap, organize and purge- that's my new years task. good luck!

I will just have to live vicariously through you as I can't even find the unfinished projects I am so behind in the organizational how to pack to move category....Fun post! I do know how to "cast off" if you want to mail me the cowl...
I'm tentatively in! I have commitment issues with some projects but I already finished two tiny ones so maybe this is the year of getting things done. The knitting thing you have is actually pretty simple and should take only a few {or 30} minutes if that helps motivate you.
Can't wait to see your new shaggy pillows!
Hmmm, I'm tempted, as there are no shortage of unfinished projects around here to choose from. I'm having commitment issues about joining in on the fun, but 1 project per month sounds doable! Happy New Year, Linda!

these all look like such awesome projects!
No judgement? Count me in!!!
I will . . . .um, next month.
Hi! I am not a blogger, but I am a procrastinator. So, if you don't mind, I'll play along. I don't make resolutions, I make to do lists....just finally finished one project from last year! Ha! ;)
This is a great idea. I'm very much guilty of procrastination and having projects unfinished. I really really hope I get to them!! =)

Don't even get me started. I start feeling the need to drink wine if I think about it too hard. I'm scared to commit :) - Brandy
Procrastinate?....I haven't even packed up and stored Christmas yet! This is inspirational!
LOVE this idea! I tried to get a bunch of unfinished projects done in the summer because I spent four months in Hungary. The motivation of leaving worked, but now I feel a bit stalled that I am home again. I definitely feel more motivated now, knowing everyone has these unfinished lying around!
Ha! How did I miss this post? I had a good laugh over the latch hook kits. I totally have some unfinished ones from a million years ago. I'm a huge procrastinator and I would join in but I think I'd be as successful as I've been at past New Years resolutions. My last one was to rub lotion on my feet and I couldn't even do that. Maybe when I can get this baby to sleep through the night I'll give my unfinished projects a serious go.
