Nantucket Style....Seekers Bazaar

This is the second to last post on my Nantucket Style series. Hold down the applause, please. Like so many of my previous posts...I have a guest. Junell from Seekers Bazaar is here to entertain us. If you are not familiar with her blog, she is a tad sarcastic (LOVE THAT), always fresh and new (pinning possibilities), and is non stop Palm Beach Chic (works for me).

Hop on! We're gonna' take a tour around Nantucket Island Palm Beach Chic Style! Nantucket & Palm Beach Chic both resonate the total prepster package. Let's imagine what a little Palm Beach Chic would look like in the land of salty, cedar shakes.

First stop is Tommy Hilfiger's lovely home above on the shore ~ can't you just imagine this delightful bedroom below tucked away in an upstairs dormer room?

Continuing along on the Lilly Mobile we find a beautiful seaside home lined up with classic white Adirondack chairs. Lovely. Lovely.

Would love to get my hands on the 'rondacks & spray the heck out of them; thinking a commanding pink... They would totally rock against the weathered gray shakes wouldn't you say???

Our little tour would not be complete without some touches of PBC signature color green. While this little number below belonging to Laura Day is in the Hampton's I imagine it would fit nicely down a sandy lane in Nantucket.

Decidedly PBC below from the Divine Miss Schultz's Bee Cottage. I think this would be just perfect in Nantucket along with the portrait of Miss Schultz. Wallpaper heaven ~ loving this cane pattern & the green is 'gawjus."

Round the bend is this delightful cottage in Sconset, Nantucket.

This preppy Lilly room would work great in the dining room above, think???

Which is where I am heading the Lilly Mobile as touring the island has me parched & hungry. Hope they are having lobster rolls & Pink Salty Dogs!

Nantucket Guest - High Cotton Style

Today, I have Fletcher here from High Cotton Style. Do you remember High Cotton Style? I featured her blog along with a few others in this post. Fletcher recently bought a new home, so there are lots of projects going on at her blog. Also, she likes when we give our opinion....and who doesn't want to give their opinion?

Hey ya'll! I'm Fletcher from High Cotton Style! I'm happy to be here to share with you my prospective real estate investments in Nantucket. You see, I'm in the market for a new vacation house and here are a few of my favorites. I can't afford to buy all of these so I'm going to need your help narrowing it down to one. Think you can help?

Bringing the outdoors in. Or in this case, bringing the boat in. Literally.

Plenty of room for guests to wake up to a beautiful view!

Bead board in the bathroom, one of the many things I think of when thinking of Nantucket.

I think I could work out of this office. Who am I kidding, like I would be working!

And with a view like that, this is a serious contender.

Such charm on the outside!

I always think of this color scheme when thinking of Nantucket.

Look at that detailing in those floors!

Yeah, I could definitely have my morning coffee, afternoon mimosa and sunset wine from here:)

Run Patrick.....Run!

That is my favorite Sponge Bob quote. My son and I can crack each other up, just by saying those words.

Well, it's time to get off the beach, because Hurricane Sandy is coming. Nantucket won't be hit as hard as New Jersey.....knew I should have moved there. Here is the latest forecast

It's not looking good....here is the projected path as the day's unfold.

Did you notice that it will be hanging a left at the Jersey Shore? I hope Snookie and the new baby are ok.

Speaking of One Hit Wonders....who remembers this song?

Seashells.....Buy or DIY

It's the weekend, so let's get those creative juices flowing with a little shell inspiration. Since some of you would rather buy than DIY...no judgement, I have provided the links to the Etsy sellers for you.
