Hi Friends, I am finally finding my way back to posting. I have been so busy last week with my family and things, that I forgot yesterday was Monday. Do you get like that in the summer...each day running into the next? I actually think that I am less busy during the school year. We start back after Labor Day...how about you?
Back to the business of obsessing over home details and such. I am a bit late to the zebra trend, but I am on it now.
I am not exactly sure when it hit me? Maybe shortly after I got my black and white cow hide rug?
Here are a few of the ways I would love to have a version of zebra in my home

I just pinned a zebra rug on Pinterest and put it under 'Dream House'. I am slow to the animal print brigade, also. Now I really want that zebra rug. The reality is Mr. Zebra Rug would look like a terrible mistake in my current house. I love the Horchow lamp! Now that might work!!
I'm loving that zebra ottoman!
i love a good zebra print!!!! i love that tiny little lamp, too
Shut up. I love zebra. End of story.
How could I not be crazy, insane over them! After recently getting the two cow hides...... Lulu and Hone Bell....The Bell Sisters
My family still thinks I'm nuts...They ask when the moose head goes over the fireplace! I don't think these people are really my "family"
I've been seeing a lot of animal prints on the blogosphere lately, I guess its the Fall trend of the season, but I agree with you, in small doses such as these examples, they are terrific statement pieces. Thanks for the ideas!
I have to say I've been loving the zebra prints lately too. And cowhides. Who woulda thunk?
I love the zebra because the pattern is bold. I have an old william sonoma home zebra rug in my entry with bright yellow walls.....I love it!
Love these zebras! These have become my recent fascination too! Haven't incorporated into my own home yet, but itching to find a place!
That pink room is a Jonathan Adler design and I adore it!!! I came late to the party as well but now I"m loving zebra.
Hi friend! Missed you. Hope you are settling back in, and loving your MBR. I like zebra stuff...it's taken me a while, but IM on board.

Yeah, you're baaaaaaaacccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkk! Missed you! Now about the Zebra.... I am desperate to find out the source for a zebra rug/carpet I found on Pinterest. Itching to use it in my living room. Now how do I ask the world;Oh wise one????
PS- Spotted this zebra rug over at OKL today and thought of you! I would have grabbed it for myself but can't figure out where to put it yet! https://www.onekingslane.com/product/15409/608020
so funny you mention this...I was house-hunting this weekend and saw a house that had leopard print in EVERY SINGLE ROOM (and tiger print, and giraffe, and antelope, and zebra...it was crazy.) I love zebra print, as long as it not covering 99% of the house.
I have always been a Skin Girl!! Zebra, all animal prints ... and try to incorporate just a touch of animal in all I do. Some clients love it ... some will have nothing to do with it!!
Love zebra prints. My husband, not so much.
Of all of the animal skins, zebra is my favorite. And your sixth photo is one of my all time favorite rooms with zebra. How could it miss being Jonathan Adler?!
I love the zebra thing too...welcome back! How lucky you are that the kids start after Labor Day (as it should be)...mine go back this week and next! Summer is over...:(
You rug is perfect! Do you just lay down and pet it? I would! :)
I do too! Zany zebra stripes make black and white even more interesting!
Lovely post Linda! Love that zebra print. Hard to find inexpensive black and white striped fabric. I see it in the IKEA store, but they never have it when I go there.
I was just telling someone this story the other day...I had a zebra hide in my living room 20 years ago. When BH&G came to scout my house...they told me that I would have to take it up as it might offend people. Fast forward to present day ...who the hell doesn't own one now...I mean really. Always a classic!
