Friday's In the Garden....I'll Get You, My Pretty

Hi Everyone, Yeah...it's Friday, and I can't wait for the weekend. The weather is finally spectacular. It has been in the high 70's with NO humidity. This picture, that I use every week, is from last year

Those are stunning Electric Blanket ground cover roses....only the deer ate the blooms.

Who me? It could have been the rabbits

BUT...this year, I have been spraying my garden with this

...and my roses look like this

A better view

It is a miracle....actually, this is a miracle...this clematis has not bloomed in 2, maybe 3, years

Anyone know the name? Here are some of my white Flower Carpet roses

I need some plant recommendations for this area. The azalea's are not happy, and need to be moved

Something on the low side, full sun, an evergreen would be a plus

My Caradona salvia is super happy....and so is the big weed

...but from this angle, only you know it is there

Enjoy your weekend, Friends....these are not my friends.

Congratulations on getting your blooms back!! Things look fab in your garden..in terms of recommendations for the space....what about some holly and low boxwood with a few more of the white carpet roses to continue the line you already have going?

My husband just used the same spray on his banana pepper plants. the deer ate the first batch. So far it has worked but the plants did not appreciate it. At least they are still there.

Ive never seen a white spotted deer! Kinda cute, although I know the pain. How about miniature day lilies in the front there? they bloom all summer? Your yard and landscaping is seriously spectacular my friend! Have a great weekend.

Your tumb is the prettiest kelly green! :) I might need to try that liquid fence to deal with our bunny problem. My dog tries her best to help with crowd control but those suckers are everywhere eating my hostas.

Your Garden is looking awesome and it's still relatively early...months of enjoyment ahead! Ive never seen a white deer like that either! But I have seen that "who me?" look before...no more flowers for my garden because of the neighborhood deer ;/

Your yard is gorgeous! I know you don't like all the wildlife, but for me it's so novel! In the middle of Dallas all we see are squirrels, possums and the occasional raccoon. I'd love to know how to keep squirrels away. Yuck!

I realize I'm being totally nosey so I apologize but what city/state do you live in? I would DIE to live some place that green with wildlife around. I detest living in a city in the deep south. Thanks! (btw - your home is GORGEOUS!)

The albino deer is rare. She is also crazy..she just stares at me, and doesn't run. Her offspring are completely normal in color. They all sleep in the wooded area behind my property.

Thanks, Arianne. I live in the northern part of New Jersey. I detest snow.

I'm going to share the info about Liquid Fence with some of my friends who have this problem.

Glad to hear that stuff works. We have WAY too many rabbits around here. They like to shear off a climatis vine right at the soil level. Drives me nutty. And i have a very happy big weed justlike yours! Why are they so damned easy to grow?
