Barbara Corcoran Shares Her Home

Did anyone else see The Nate Show the other day when Barbara Corcoran gave us a tour of her Manhattan home? I like Barbara...especially on the show Shark Tank. There is something about her approach and business savvy that I love and admire.

I think you might be surprised by her home. I know I was...just not what I expected...and she has an all white foyer! Here is the tour.

Did you like it? Be honest...she doesn't read my blog.

Wow, it was totally different from what I thought she'd have. I must admit, though the country chic part is not my style, it is so homey and comfy right in the middle of the city! I love that she has collected and thrifted! What a great dynamite lady she is. Thanks so much for sharing this Linda!

I love her entrance hall/foyer. The rest is not my style, but she is so excited about it so good for her.

So interesting! We love to watch Shark Tank. Mark Cuban's daughter is at the same school as my daughter, so that makes it even more interesting. Barbara is awesome!

Not at all what I would expect her style to be. I liked some of it but not the really country parts. I did like her foyer. Did you like?

Really not what I expected. Thought it would be much more modern. Loved the foyer, rug and kids art. The shabby chic, country style is my favorite.

Totally surprised. I did like the foyer. I wish they would have shown more of it. How I will miss Nate!!

I like the foyer, didn't like everything about the dining room, I liked the kitchen.

Seems like she likes the cottage feel. It feels light and airy though and I like that :)

I like it!! Yes, a little more country than I like, but I get it and get what she created and her enthusiasm is what makes it so special! That was fun!!

I liked her hallway with kid's art. It a little too cottage-y for me. It further confirms my belief that the rich don't get rich by buying the latest greatest everything...they are frugal.

Looks like I'm alone in saying this, but I love it! I think great style is about expressing your own loves and personality....not about copying the latest and greatest trends and someone else's ideas. And you can tell by the look on her face and the sound of her voice that her apartment is totally HER and makes her happy and comfortable.
LOVE her table cloth collection and that, though she's a millionaire, she still gets a kick out of a great thrifted find!

Wow! I am shocked! I expected something totally different.
She is quite thrifty....that's probably why she has made so much money. Thanks for sharing. I am your newest follower. I hope you come for a visit and follow along. Linda

OMG! I hated it. She sounds like she doesn't want to part with her money and it shows. Since Cocoran is so successful in real estate, couldn't she have a home with more than a little "peak" of Central Park? Since she loves her "garden" couldn't she buy a place with a deck or at least a balcony? I don't have a problem with her country cottage style. I just don't think she does it very well. She should pay a professional to pull her place together. And plastic plates? On display in her dining room? Really? Are you kidding me?

I meant peek not peak.
