When we bought our first home, we had a small detached garage. To access it, you needed to drive down an alley....we never put a car into it. In fact, there were several strong wind situations that I thought for sure, would put our sad little garage out of it's misery. We moved.

| NOT MY GARAGE, but you get the idea. |
There are so many "potential" projects waiting for me in all that "stuff". Now, at this very moment, you can't get any cars into any of the bays' because my shelving for the Spring Into Action challenge is spread out over the entire space! Which got me to thinking.......why doesn't my garage look like this?
Or this?
If my tools looked like this, I could find them sooner and save so much time!
This was an extremely long way of asking you creative people....can you fit a car into your garage?

Linda, our last house was old and had a 2 car tandem garage. Who does that!? This house is new construction and has a 2 car garage (although stingy in size)and we insist on putting our cars in it. Most people in the neighborhood have finished basements and so fill their garages with crap and park their cars outside. We are one of the few families that use our garage for cars.
Thank goodness my husband and I are both alike, and he has everything organized in the garage so at least I can park in the 2 car garage! But with kids getting in and out of the carseats, it makes the 2nd car really tight! I have totally taken the garage over with projects! Great story, and I will have a garage like the pics one day... maybe in the new house!
Our home in Chicago had a single car attached garage that was so tiny we had to measure it before we bought a new car so as to ensure it would fit inside (the car was the only thing in there)! We now have an oversized 2 car garage that even with an annual cleaning still seems a mess. We do park 2 cars in it, the only saving grace!
My house was built in 1939 and we have a tandem garage - only the subaru will fit. My minivan is too tall. But my garage needs to be made over - bikes, construction material, garden supplies and old refrigerator currently occupy the space. So, to answer your question - no!
We haven't actually tried to fit a car in our garage yet. It's still filled with moving boxes and all of our crap. One day though I do want to organize it like those pictures you showed.
We have a one car garage, and like your third bay, our whole garage is finished with furniture projects, lawn care stuff and everything else under the sun. A reorganization project is in our for sure. Because when its all clean we can fit a car in and its nice - especially on a rainy/snowy day.
I don't even HAVE a garage, but I will soon. I'm hoping we'll be able to fit into it :)
We have a two car garage and can hardly fit one in. I'm guessing that will be next on my do to list. Cleaning, decluttering and organizing that is :)
I've been asking, begging, nagging, and bullying my husband to clean out the garage. We have a 2 car garage that fits both of our cars easily except that neither of us can use it. There seems to never be enough time to tackle that particular project!
we cannot park in our two car garage...I can barely WALK through our two car garage, and I have to in order to do laundry. There is no attic or basement here, so all our crap is in the garage. I would love, in my next house, to be able to park in the garage, since it gets hot here.
We don't live in a house so we don't have that kind of garage, but if we did, I assure you that there'd be no car in it. We do however, have a storage place, as many New Yorkers do, that holds all the stuff that we'd have in our actual garage if our co-op allowed us to do so.
We have a 2 car garage and I can barely fit my small SUV in it! We definitely need to clean it out one of these days!
My house was built in 1946 and it has a very small one car garage. Ang girl....it is packed to the ceiling with crap! That has got to be a priority this summer......clean it out!
