Beach Centerpieces

What can I say...I love a simple centerpiece. In fact, the hydrangea centerpiece post that I did, is currently my most popular. Since the weather has been so fantastic, and I'm always dreaming of the day I live at the beach.....I thought I would do beach inspired centerpieces

I'm so sorry the kids have outgrown their sandbox. I could use a few cups of it now. Is this something you would try?

On another note....my Craigslist frustrations continues. That contender table is in Pennsylvania! I'ts called "over-posting" and I should have flagged that listing.

Wow - beautiful pics - so inspiring. Good luck on that craigslist hunt - it can be frustrating!!

I love the coral and modern feeling in the first one.
I see idiot Craig's posting all the time. People post Fredericksburg Texas in Fredericksburg Virginia. Don't they know where they live?

I never take the time to create a cute centerpiece. It makes such a pretty statement, these images have inspired me. I especially love the second image!

Love that first picture. I don't know if I would do this in my house though, but if I had a beach house I'd be all over it.

I would definitely try the white cymbidium orchids in the rectangular vase with the stones and floating candle.

So pretty! I'm especially drawn to the floating candles.

These are all so gorgeous! I love the first one the most. Lovely! I'd wanted to know yesterday about your foyer because if it's first impression I'd either not paint it or I'd do black. Your dining room has a level of formality that needs to be in keeping with the foyer treatment. I love that Baker piece!!!! Will they not negotiate? The other one is lovely too, and has such simple Federal/neoclassical lines that you can't go wrong with it.

Thanks TPP, because I need my foyer table to rest against the wall, I will need to cut the back legs off one of those pieces. I just can't do that to the Baker piece! The other table is in PA...so it's out. I might hit the NYC Flea market soon.

I think I am going to see if that piece is still at my Good Will ... you could paint the gold and make it very fun! I will get and hold for you!!! I'll check on it tomorrow! :)

by the way ... you know I love those hydrangeas!

Oh that's right! I forgot you had to cut the back legs off. I wouldn't do that either!

Everything here is so gorgeous and a must-try. Beach items are not commonly used as center pieces but these ones are no less than perfect! They're awesome! :)
