Please consider taking down your word verification. I love leaving comments on blogs. I try...a lot!! However, on an iPhone or iPad and auto-correct....it is nearly impossible. Not to mention that word verification, itself, has gotten quite difficult to read. Here is a video that will show you how to modify yours. I have different preferences with some of her settings but the overall goal is the same.
Thank you, Randomocity for this video
I realized, after sending e-mails to people, that most bloggers don't know they have this. If you don't know if word verification is on your comments.....leave your blog address on this comments, and we will visit you and find out.
My question to you is, if after one failed attempt with word verification, do you try again OR move on?

Seriously, I don't like word verification either so I never have them on my blog. I love to leave comments too. If it doesn't work the first time, I will try again, two more times at most. Then, I move on. How about you, Linda?

I hate x 100 word verification. Is spam that big a problem? Anyway, is it on mine?
After your 11 questions..I understand why you are so detail oriented. I was not given patience in this life...one try, and I am out!
Going to check!
Man, no clue. Can you check? I also tagged you in a post this morning. Thanks for getting the tagathon going and for your amazing posts: http://nwdweddingsandevents.blogspot.com/

Thanks Nicole, so nice to meet you. What a beautiful blog you have! Yes, you have word verification on. I'm over faux finishes, too.
Thanks for telling people about this Linda! I learned how to turn mine off - I think it was one of the first things I learned how to do.
I don't like word verification and won't leave comments most of the time if it's enabled. I definitely won't leave it if I'm wrong the first time.
Oh my goodness!! I hate it too! I'd love to be able to leave comments on my iPad and word verification makes it a nightmare. When you suggested that we disable for One Room Challenge, I did and I notice I'm hearing from more people which I love!
I hate word verification. I've always had it turned off. Looks like it has been turned on without my knowing as I got a comment suggesting I turn it off today. Tried to switch to old interface to turn it off and the old interface option seems to have been removed from the drop down box. Any ideas?
Hi Tracey O, I was going to your blog, but was not sure which one? Did you watch the video? I followed it....go into Settings...click on comments...scroll down till you see "Show word verification" AND CLICK THE NO! Make sure to save all changes.
Just took mine off. Thanks for the heads up and the tips to remove!
Hopefully this note will help all the other newbies like me.....
I just clicked through five or six different blogs talking about this subject, and driving myself crazy, because my blogger dashboard doesn't look like the ones in the example. I absolutely CANNOT find the yes/no box for word verification under any category.
Then after some deep digging, I found the SOLUTION.... most new bloggers are defaulted to the "updated" blogger format. For time being, this new version does not allow the option of turning off word verification.
***If you want to remove word verification you must first SWITCH BACK to the OLD platform. For now that seems like the only choice to remove word ver ***
Hopefully this tip is helpful to others. I am posting this same message on every blog I referenced while trying to solve this problem.
Shelby, thank you for taking the time to tell everyone. Hopefully, your hard work will make it a little easier for all. Now I'm on my way to check out your blog!
