My husband and I went to a lovely dinner last weekend. It was a work-related event, so that is always fun to see people you have not seen in a while. Good food, good company, and a short commute; that always makes a perfect evening. When the night was over, we were presented with a beautiful pair of candlesticks. They are lovely. I am considering myself lucky, because I have some other candlesticks at home......although, nothing like these.
I would like to display my candlesticks. You know, don't just save it for company, use it everyday. Only, I am not exactly sure how to make a candlestick arrangement. Here are some ideas that I like
It seems that the trick is to keep all the candles the same color. I love the glitter ones. Do you cluster your candles?

I'm like you. I think a grouping of candles looks beautiful in magazines/pictures, but I wouldn't know where to start in putting an arrangement together. Actually, buying candlesticks would be a good start for me. I want to see your arrangement. That may motivate me:)
I really like the first and third arrangements. I have very few candlesticks so my arrangement would look kind of silly I think! Can you have an arrangement of two? ;)
But I like these looks. Would love to see what you come up with.
Beautiful inspiration. Love that first shot. Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm following you.
You know, I've usually always dismissed taper candles and candlesticks as too traditional for me, but I really like some of these examples. The group of pink candles in the glass tapers is amazing! Thanks.

I love the glitter candlesticks as well. The glitter candlesticks in the milk glass might look great as well? I think they would look nice grouped underneath a mirror.
I love candles and I do cluster them. I do stick with one color and like to mix varying heights and even types. But there is usually one or more consistent themes, color: usually white or ivory. Materials: all glass, all metal, etc. I collect them from second hand. I do have a great glass trio though from Home Goods though.
Come to think of it, I do have a couple of candle clusters, but only little one. I have to agree - the glitter candles are AWESOME. I think there might be a tutorial or two for DIY glitter candles floating around the internet...
