If you have not guessed by now...I love pagodas! To me, they say "happy chinoiserie". Pagodas add that extra touch of whimsy to a room. As my blogger friend
Jessie, from the blog Mix and Chic, says...."the global eclectic look is so chic these days".
Here are some of my pagoda favorites from Etsy....of course!
By the way,
The Pink Pagoda is having a giveaway! So pop on over and enter. I love
my pink pagoda print. Are you embracing the global eclectic look in your home? What is your new "chic" inspiration?

I'd never given pagodas a second look until recently. Now I love them. I absolutely love The Pink Pagoda's prints and am going to find someplace to put one in my home.
The other thing I'm digging is peacocks. The original kitchen in the house had peacock wallpaper and I really want to do something fun in that room as an homage to it. I have an idea but not sure if I can execute it..we'll see.
Linda, have you seen the pagodas at Overlays for Ikea furniture? I am absolutely nutty for pagodas and spent an hour looking around my house trying to figure out what I could put one of those pagodas on. No luck..yet.
Tiffany, I am looking forward to that...peacocks are too fun!
Yes!! I am also trying to find an "outside the box (Ikea)" way to use some of those Overlays' pagodas!
Linda, I've been loving all things Chinoiserie lately. I lived in Asia as a child and my parent's house is decorated with treasures from our time there and I always hated it when I was younger. Now, I would happily take anything from their home!
Thanks for the shout out, girl! You are so sweet! :) I love the pagoda prints, the pagoda pillow and the witty design of the pagoda umbrella. Who would have thought?
I am looking forward to see your dining room progress tomorrow. :)
Have a great day!
Jessie
